Alan
I'm Alan. For the last decade-plus I've operated a mid-market services company — the kind where most of the day is coordination, exception-handling, and the judgment calls in between, and where the cost of all of it climbs in lockstep with revenue. I've felt the linear-growth ceiling from the operator's chair, not from a slide.
I started Captyl because I wanted companies of that shape to be run differently — with an operating system carrying the coordination at scale, and the operator keeping the calls that genuinely need a person. That's the whole of the idea.
I have no issue being in front. But Captyl isn't about me — it's about the substrate. If you come to the storefront you'll find me working the counter, not running the show. This page is here if you want to know who's behind it; you'll see more of me in the work itself than you will here.
